Though I would prefer to say very little in regard to 'The Purple Umbrella' (2024), the idea to create some type of horror film concerning a purple umbrella first came to me when I stumbled upon a closed umbrella weirdly placed in an area in my backyard that also happened to be purple. While looking up at the blue sky and green grass just before me, I felt the presence of a purple umbrella proved to be a bizarre contrast to the more naturalistic and scenic landscape that I found myself in.
